Tyranus wrote::p that could almost be leinster! except I think Leinster would be a bit bigger than that, and longer...
Yes sorry - I was mis-informed - It's actually - Final Approach Runway13 - at Ayers Rock (YAYE) - Pic was taken May 30th 2003.

Thats alright you never said that the photo was at Jandakot, all the rest were, you just said it was final approach, which it is :) I just commented that it reminded me a bit of Leinster, which I landed at quite regularly when I was at high school. Can't remember the airport code.

The 5th image also shows the WAPOL 2nd Hangar - which houses quite frequently Polair 62 and their new PC12. What a beauty she is too :)

Going through some older pics i have on file I came across this one from Jandakot that I thought may interest a few of the spotter types in here. This shows Sea King N16-100 "Shark 02" a few months prior to its crashing on the Indonesian Island of Nias, tragically killing 9 ADF personnel. RIP.

She was an awsome bird... RIP to the crew....

Didn't know Jandakot received "Military Aircraft"

Is it something rare or a one of thing?
