ALERT LEVEL:
A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people in Hakea forest block 40km south-east of Dwellingup for a fire that has escaped from private property and entered State forest. It has burnt through approximately 70 hectares.
No private property is currently threatened by the fire.

Update:
18:50 - FLO arrived.
18:55 - Perth 2nd reporting that there were approx. 150-200(?) car batteries with 50L worth of leaked acid.
19:20 - Perth 2nd released from incident.

This incident is complete at 2250. Funny to hear that DM Swan has to wait for roadside assistance for a flat battery in his car.....

There was another gas cylinder explosion yesterday up towards Malaga way. Also another fire down at Jarradale.

2nd alarm with extra resources Scrub with Structual fire. Rockingham 1st and 2nd at structual with Singleton and Rockingham deputy at scrub, Doghill Road, Baldivis
Dm Hills (Miller?) enroute to job also DM South East,

Welshpool 1st at scrub fire, initially 1st alarm scrub fire.
Welshpool 1st has not bumped up to a second alarm, requesting 2.4 tanker to turn out for water issues as the pump is a quite a distance away from the scrub.

It is understood the man was driving a tow truck when he hit a tree on Toodyay Rd.
A report to police said he was trapped, but his condition is unconfirmed.

Kalamuda BFS 3.4 and Lt3 turning out to out of control burn off. Mundaring wier road. LT4 Turning out. Possible Property under threat. Kalamunda VFRS to turn out. No Alarm Classification yet.

Whatever happened with this incident, the area was still all taped off when I went through there just around 8am, so it probably ended up as something serious, would be my guess...
