Baldivis LT8 isn't operational.
Its a suport vehicle for Rockingham Bushies. (Baldivis & Singleton).
It's usually occupied with the DCBFCO.
Soon to be stripped back and updated.

Yes to all. The dipstick is accessable from the rear/side of the cab. There is an expansion tank from the radiator at the rear of the cab. The batteries are usually located under the tray. All of these things should be shown to you prior to you using the appliance if you are a driver of it.

We have a 3.4U and it is good. Has a lot of water and can get into most places. We were at first worried about branches hitting the side roller door type lockers, and damaging them so we couldn't open them, but this hasn't happened yet, in the two years we have had it. Yes it does have a auxiliary pump. It is controlled by 3 buttons in the cab. It is really only used when we are moving and using water. The main pump is a PTO pump and can't be used when moving.

How can you be dual registered if you dont have the gear- BA, Recsue tools, an actual atructural unit?
Seems bizzare to me that your dual registered with 2 lts and you dont do what the FRS does. Is there plans for the future and with that, the career guys aren't that far away.

Don't know the full details on how it all works but the reason why we have 2 white trucks is most of the brigade are there for the bush fires, we do get turned out to structural fires in our area. Having Midland, Bassendean and Welshpool not far from the station is our main reason why we stick to the BFS stuff. If you want further details you'll need to speak to the FCO or Captain.

The reason why the brigades are duel registered is due to the location and also for the fact that there are so many houses up in the hills with FRS being Midland and Mundaring voli's

Then your registered like Parkeville and MT Helena, BFS with the capabilities to do structural if required- not FRS. Then you should have a 2.4 with that capability. it would alway be handy in that neck of the woods.

Nope, we are Volunteer Fire and Rescue, as well as BFS. We're thinking about trading in a LT for a 1.4
