In Midland saw a blue Ford Teritory wagon with "Duty Patrol Commander" written where you would just have a "Police" Sticker.
What is the purpose of this vehicle apart from the obvious 'duty patrol commander,' as this is the first time i have seen this vehicle???

Best to search.
I believe its the on road inspector/commander (instead of just having them sitting at a desk).

"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

Re: Duty Patrol Commander
Based out at POCC. Attends to larger incidents when Senior officer is required. the idea is that there is 1 duty inspector based at VKI whilst another can attend rather than just having only the one duty inspector running things from an office at VKI
People call me an "Egotistic Jackass"... I prefer the term "Confident Donkey" --->Donks for short
