Thought I'd share these here after posting them to ozfire.
I have slowly been getting all of my photos properly catalogued with Lightroom, and after recent discussion on these Heavy Pumps, I thought I'd upload them all and share.I am missing images of HP6 which served at Canningvale, and HP11, which may have served at Welshpool, or Success.
All of these are in the process of, or already been replaced. Initially there was a plan to replace with Heavy Pumps, however now all Heavy and Medium Pumps will be replaced with Urban Pumps, capable of the same pump output. There are a number of new Heavy Pumps on the run already though.
So, to these:
Australian Fire Co. build, Hale pump: 4750lpm
Those with Steve's book will see a great shot of HP2 when it was much younger, on the South Perth foreshore.

Former HP2 and HP9 have since been decommisioned and sent for disposal. See my post here (http://warsug.info/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6913&start=0) for pics and reference. Former HP9 is still on the lot.

Re: FRS Scania 93M Heavy Pumps
Thanks AE. These pics were mostly taken from when I was still living over there, so 5 years ago now. As far as I'm aware there are only a couple left in service, and a few at Forrestfield Training.
HP6(ex Canningvale) is also on one of the auction sites.
I'm going to try and do a few of these series soon with different appliances, as I get my Catalog more organised. Several hundred thousand photos to tag is a slow and painful job, though you come across some gems from the past occasionally.

I can't delete this post. Would a friendly member of the WARSUG admin delete this?
