as far as i could see they were running windows xp sp2, as for hardware i would assume either a laptop hidden somewhere or a custom mini-itx based system.

The TADIS system, I'm told, is a Windows backend with software running for the usual software for the person/rego checks/jobs etc.
Hardware wise I can't comment. Is it Motorola gear? Has the Motorola labels on the ones that I've seen.

TADIS. -Motorola touchscreen monitor and keyboard. a rather small computer hard drive mounted under passenger seat. runs Windows XP.

Its like a regular computer, but with only the basics. made by our friends at motorola. nothing special.
