Nice shots mate, though that looks like Perth 2nd. Perth 3rd is a Heavy Rescue where as that pump is just a Medium Pump.

Are you sure its Perth 1st? They have had an old series 3 for all week.
I could have sworn its Perth 3rd.

good spot, on closer looking I can just barely make out the HP and 1st on the station name

I could have sworn its Perth 3rd.
Perth third would have had HEAVY RESCUE across the back of the pump.

What time was this? Perth 3rd was in Inglewood at ~5:30pm.

"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

not a matter of reading it really, name is short, can see Perth and it looks more like 1st, than 2nd or 3rd, as for the HP22...MP22 would be really old and therefore not likely to be that.

you can tell its a heavy pump by the LEDs on the front.
This one has 4, the two one the outside are red/blue and the two on the inside are white.
Only heavy pumps have this set up.

Why do they require a fire truck, with his hose out
at a stabbing?

Without putting too fine a point on it, i expect it would be classed as a 'special service' call out for cleaning up the scene.

I thought the police carried buckets of coke around for that
I guess, but i thought the police would have had their own clean up system.
