Look at the One Stop Shop at the top of the FESA Forum. There's a WAERN SES list there.

Re: FESA frequencies
Would I be correct in saying 162.8375, 164.000, 164.350 & 164.900? (I'm aware that One and Three are said as Department of Conservation and Environment)WPXZBP wrote:Look at the One Stop Shop at the top of the FESA Forum. There's a WAERN SES list there.
Excuse the newbiness in this, but I'm new to this sort of stuff. Aren't some for FRS/FESA?

I would also monitor the 10 SES UHF channels

Re: FESA frequencies
the best time to moniter ses channels are. mon, tues and wed nights after 1900 s thats when most units train, and during major storms as most units will be active.

Whoops. Yep, you're right. Channel 57 is 78.125 and should be nice and strong in Lockridge... just down the road from my place.yorky wrote:Try either 78.100 or 164.000 or 163.250 (306 there Gavin )

Hi
Rescue 65 is going down to boddington area and are using our northam shire channelto talk to williams any idea why they would be using Ch 43 instead of another channel?
We are getting all the chatter from Rescue 65 over our repeater.
This happened last night and also at the moment 6/12/09.

Re: FESA frequencies
Perhaps Boddington/Williams also operate on Ch 43, and due to the altitude of Rescue 65, it was able to get line of sight with our repeater. i didn't hear this AM's chatter, but I don't recall hearing two sides of the conversation last night - heard enough to know that it wasn't a fire in Northam, made sure pager was nearby and turned radio off. one false alarm waking me up for the night was enough.pacestick wrote:Hi

The channel crowding of the VHF mid-band channels is one of the reasons FESA started WAERN, after all.
