A first Aid Post does not move, its a Post, and therefore does not need Red and Blues, Reds or even Magenta
VFAS operates Static First Aid Posts, Foot Patrols, Bike Team and a Retrival Team (which there are 2 vehicles that move and collect casualities)
Those two Vehicles can be seen at events such as Red Bull Air race, Subi Oval, Australia Day, Major Concerts and Royal show
ok ill make that a bit clearer

VFAS is not a emergency Ambulance service and therefore under the conditions that constitute emergency vehicles they do not fall into the category of "emergency Ambulance"

And be for you say but but but, they carry casualty's, Patent Transfer carry casualty's, but do not have Red and Blues, if they have a injury that constitutes P1 conditions the nearest ambulance is not to far away.

Never once did i state that VFAS requires red/blue, red or any other combination of lights, i was correcting what VFAS operates.

VFAS vehicles are classified as a secondary emergency vehicles in a state of disaster. and if you check out the new Patent Transfer vehicles they do have beacons.. as to what colour they are i don't know as never seen them on, but will try to get a pic next time i see them

I saw one of the new ones parked up on the side of the road with its beacons flashing and they were a beautiful bright orange.

The little LED's at the top of the van?...ahh No...Reason: I thought they were too, so I watched them the next time I saw the van (both old and new type of PTV) indicating and neither times did the strobes/LED's up top of the van or grill strobes flash. Dare I say it but I think there must be a magic button/switch which will make them flash, not unlike Orange twirly's on work vehicles.

No they have flashing orange LED beacons on the top as well which are independent of the indicators.
