Digital Radio Now in Use

[gkoutlis]

Guys heard all sorts of testing on channel 8

And heard JK-107 say - that they are using the Digital Radio as we speak and they can hear VKI 5/5 and VKI responded suprised that he can here them 5/5 too....!!! So looks like the Digital Radios are in use - and I am sure I heard her transmition to VKI.....

So maybe our scanners can pick up digital????? I also heard a AJ vehicle on channel 8 as well say the same about 2 mins ago.

You'll be able to hear the digital radio cars on the existing channels while they're still running both systems together. Once they're fully over we won't hear anything.

All cars will be getting new Motorola radios/handsets which work on digital and analogue systems at present.
