Kyle: You dont seem to know much if you worked for ALAS are all your eggs in the same basket.

PFO: Bingo to that as well !!! A multimullion dollar international company can afford to run at a loss to gain work over in the west and get the foot in the door so all i can say to anyone who runs first aid/events/patient transport/emergency ambulance services is that be prepared.

I agree with Rescue10 this is not for bagging other services its about having a chat with whats new or old.

Sometimes new faces and new blood can mean a change to a service that may have got a bit rusty.

Well i have spilled no blood at ALAS sorry guys, i guess you can say my history goes back to 1994 in the midst of things.

I have assisted and help some ALAS guys during the years in the passing bys, met peter a couple off times on both sides off the fence.

The system here needs over hauling yes it works but that depends on what day it is, patients should not wait thats as far as it goes, the nearest ambulance with qualified staff should be called regardless if its a P1 P2 or P3. And if SJA are too scared to call someone else nothing wrong with saying hey can we do some skill assessment on your staff if they are good enough then yer for sure we can call you as a back up.

Any private service will struggle while SJA are sucking on the cash cow teat off the government.

Hmm this just seems to be a personal attack session. Well I only worked there for a short period of time. I was just sharing what I knew. Oh well.. No my eggs are in many baskets.
Sorry kyle but some off your posts are quite funny  and pretty out left field. If you want to be a paramedic n such go back to alas and give it a bash im sure they would give you training and such. Still cant work out why SJA were not keen to have you as a volllie, many a moon ago ANYONE with 2 feet and a heart beat could be one.

I second your motion. But when one fails to let another take the patient then yes patient does not come first.
