Germany (and a lot of other European countries) still have the old NeeNaw sirens. The electronic ones are OK, the compressed air ones are KICK ASS but if you have the two-tones on for a long time they become monotonous and lose the 'alarming' effect. Talking About Lights and Sirens. Western Power now have emergency response truck fully equipped for P1 flashes sirens and all. Seem them once helping the firefighters manage a poll top fire.
