Ive been told that SJA in Gero use radios as the have to radio the Hospital before arrival, have no idea what the freq are...

Getting quite a bit of talk on 413.525 in Gero for SJAs mostly calling the Hospital with details of person being transported etc etc

hmmm,, when an ambulance depot calls centeral over the radio, do they say "kwinnana to centeral" or "kwinnanna to 60th centeral" or "kwinnana to city centeral" ?

Not at this present time.

However, Both St.Johns career and Volunteer services will be going Digital in the not too distant future.

whats the point of that , its not like we can hear where they are anyway. whats the point of putting digital just on that little voice communications part, theres not much harm in hearing the words "applecross Priority 1" , its not like we can hear where the job is , what has happend and the who where what and why if you know what i mean. if thier going to do that , they might as well paint all the ambulances black.

Unmarked Ambulances, that will be funny seeing these big black/blue/red/turquoise vans speeding down the freeway with some dash strobes and a magnetic beacon. Can't Wait :!:
