Alot of the time the traffic car will have a 'stinger' on board, and they try and leap ahead to deploy it.

Just have to be mindful that you dont stinger the black car thats behind the target vehicle.....

mmmm, I think maybe 'more experienced' may be the better term.

1 in 4 chases involve the black cars. Depends on the D.I. and who he wants running the pursuit I guess........heard a few where the traffic lads get the nod to go first.

around 4pm, red commodore, with black bonnett and 2 different rego's, 2 different vehicles!
1 on board, blown tyre, went on the wrong side a couple of times, and was thus aborted, but came back onto the right side, so continued. Car eventually lost.

Crash on Marmion Ave and Kinross Drive.

Police were in pursuit. Car crashed. On fire, power lines down. Northbound blocked from Burns Beach Road.

They hadnt started a pursuit at the time. Vehicle of interest that they stumbled across doing patrols.

Power is out in Joondalup, Kinross, Currambine, Iluka, Ocean Reef, parts of Mindarie, Clarkson.. must've upset the substation!

Was listening at the time. Pursuit was never called, nor were priorities until he'd hit the pole (a few cars had asked and were declined). They had made mention that he/they were not exceeding the speed limit and had no tail lights.

The car following was on radio at the time when he hit the pole - from the reaction of the officers, they sounded quite shocked.

Badly damaged stolen vehicle wanted for ramming a house and some cars on Sat/Sun - not the best thing to be driving on the road. Car completely destroyed by fire, as Fireys had to wait for a Western Power rep to arrive from Gabbadah (up near Guilderton!). He got dragged out unconscious by the officers.
