Vehicle callsign spreadsheet

I guess the chase in Kwinana/Wellard has prompted you to ask that MarkMW. It does seem like they need more dogs stationed in the outer districts because as you say they are always on the other side of town. Last nights handler couldnt even get a P2 on the freeway from canning highway to attend as fast as possible. By the time he got there it was nearly all over.
I wonder what percentage of obvious K9 jobs are disregarded due to distance.

Listening to channel 54 and just heard a vehicle called HL616 going P2 (with a Midland and Mundaring car) to something in Swan View. I know there is a vehicle HM616 from Midland but i've never heard of a HL616 (Kiara Station) before. Any clues??

I also missed my chance for pics of one of these vehicles too today due to no camera on board. It was a silver SX6 Adventra, fully marked but with no light bar. What has me curious though is the fact that the car was fitted with a Motorola radio handset that looked very much like the Wapol digital handsets do , but the thing is the car didnt have a single antenna mounted anywhere , either exterior or interior. Can anyone shed any light on how these things work?i also saw travelling down hay street but wasnt fast enough to take a pic of it was a protective services car with the vecta police lightbar on it.

Hey Tom. What are the chances of there being 2 cars getting around with the HM616 sign writing?? The sedan above is definately not the HM616 i've seen around Midland. Is it possible they sent the sedan to Kiara station and quite simply couldn't be bothered changing the signage from M to L?? Definately heard a vehicle HL616 several times the other night, with a female officer.

Whilst coming home on the train this arvo, saw a brand new VE Commodore at an auto elecs that does a lot of WAPol work. White, fully marked with the call sign of either RM202 or RH202 (Manjimup??). Easy on the eyes from the brief look i got.
The only thing i didn't like was that the 'checker board' strip and word 'Police' on the side follow the slope of the body contour across the fenders and doors, and is therefore not horizontal with the ground, but hey, maybe it will grow on me.
