ha ha ha - just heard booze bus support vehicle call through that a car that was trying to evade a booze bus (erindale road coming off the freeway) and crashed into the traffic lights..... (nil injuries)

Woken by the sounds of sirens at 1.30am this morning

South Metro area, CD509, 507, 512 in pursuit of a Toyota Landcruiser with rego of '24' (on hot list) sighted in Willagee area with 4 heads on board. Priority pursuit lasted about 10 mins where they went offroad for a point, then dumped and took off on foot. K9 at scene - last heard offenders still at large but vehicle recovered. They were apparently in the company of another vehicle, a white commodore that had been seen at various times around town. VF105 (ORS) called to inspect undercarriage damage to D9

Great calling by VKI and by the sounds of it great teamwork to close in on the VOI.
