Theres 4 levels.. and to be honest, I dont remember what they are.. they did change a couple of years ago. Thought I had it mentioned in some course materials somewhere, but cant find it.. someone like Firefly might be able to drag it off the current SOPs?Markmywords wrote:Whats the difference in level of refreshments ??? is it the higher the level the more you get ?

Level 1 - Water only (Should already be carried by firefighers, as such, I've never heard this one requested)
Level 2 - Light Refreshments, biscuits, cake. Basically a light snack.
Level 3 - Light Meal such as toasted sandwiches, bbq, tea, coffee, juice, etc.
Level 4 - Camp kitchen. Only to used at long duration 'campaign' style incidents. Supposedly a fully cooked meal. But the quality can vary.
How'd I go, any mistakes?

Craig is correct. Level one and two are what you carry on your appliances (chaplain also helps with level 2 sometimes with tea and biscuits), level one being just a water bottle and level two ration packs which contain energy drink supplement, oily biscuit and a muesli bar. Level one is for one hour duration jobs and level two for up to two hours.JG-103 wrote:Very good craig.
Just on level 2 refreshments, u also gets nuts and lollies and as u said cake (fruit cake) water and maybe if ur lucky u might find some apple and/or orange juices and u still get tea and coffee.
Level three and four is where catering come in, with level 3 being for job duration 3 to 6 hours being a light meal such as a sandwhich and level for for jobs in excess of 6 hours duration and are supposed to be a substantial meal. Of course all depends on other requirements that are occuring around the area.
