New Police Car - Wrx STI?

"Well, I knew they were having a few trial runs in the suspension modifed BA XR6T's but I seen something wild Friday night.

A Orange 06 STi chasing a VZ Clubsport along Leach Highway. The STi had a blue light flashing with sirens, whole front had red and blue flashers and 3 ariels on it. Inside contained 2 Police uniformed men.

Does anyone know what they have now?

I read a while back about the poof level of Police driving skills, and the Police wrote a few WRX's off during the trial period!"

Anyone know anything about this?

and my bruva Gino he bought a fully sick ex police WRX wiv a chip and all. It goes wicked man like to 280....really

WAPOL have had one WRX on trial many years ago and that was not crashed, abused maybe but not crashed.

The XR6T is as close to a performance vehicle WAPOL will get and it does the job well.

Are the police still doing their driver training at barbagallo? i saw them a few times training up there, provided some great viewing.

I did here they are testing new motorbikes though... Anyone know about that?

Here's the new Subaru WRX which is on-trial with WAPOL.

Spotted it today parked at the TEG's office.

Even has the WRX front fog-lights fitted. It even has a new style of LED light-bar.

As you can see Danny looks pretty happy with his new wheels...

subaru released a limited number of burnt orange wrx's earlier this year i remember reading it in a magazine
