yeah, so instead we have to go trawling through a thread that could be 100's - 1000's of posts to find ou the answer to something we could have just had a quick look through the topics and hopefully found an answer if someone knew the answer and posted it...GC101 wrote:I dont like starting up threads to show one pic or ask one question, i think its stupid how ppl start threads of p3 jobs, im mean there are hundreds of them a week, why start a thread on one, just post them all together, and save new threads for big things like eg. murders, and big operations etc..., well thats just my opinion... we'll see how people take to it.... it seems though every thread i start just gets spewed with spam about why i am starting the thread....
I'm sorry, but to me this seems like a pointless exercise... I'd just like to draw your attention to a few things...
SPAM = Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail.
So, SPAM as you put it is unsolisoted, but on the other hand, you are soliciting or leaving the option for people to reply...
FORUM = an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.
So, This is a public FORUM where people can comment and do comment, as you have done, and as I am doing. And the posts that you seemingly see no point in form part of this FORUM no matter haw trivial they are...
If they were posted to the wrong forum then you would have a right to be annoyed about it...
thats all I'm gonna say... I think people get the point.
