Significant Bush Fires 2019/20

Post by vk6hgr »

This thread is predominantly for THIRD ALARM AND ABOVE bush fires however if it is a significant fire (ie threatening homes and businesses)
that is at least second alarm then it will be acceptable.

If it's not one of those things then post it in one of the other, more appropriate areas such as the Minor Fires and Other Incidents or General Fire Discussion threads.

Minor Fires Thread
General Discussion Thread

Remember also that quoting others has been disabled in this thread and **WILL NOT WORK**, nor will the BBCode mark-ups..

Please keep the posts to factual information - not rumour, hearsay, possibilities, theories etc. Also keep the information brief and to the point.

Questions about what is going on, who is turning out, why someone isn't turning out etc should be done in the General Fire Discussions thread.

Ellenbrook reporting they are 16 minutes out from the Warbrook rd, Bullsbrook scrub fire and can see a massive plume of smoke from the fireground, requesting air support until ground crews can arrive.

Bullsbrook is on scene and reporting the plume of smoke Ellenbrook reported was from the Yanchep incident.

1508: Ellenbrook advising this is a reignition from a prior burn, 2nd alarm only and air support can stand down.
