Not sure, but I heard it also. Resources were pretty stretched that night with Bunbury being sent up to Mandurah, Perth 3rd up to the Padbury fire and it sounded like Fremantle up in Joondalups area.

Yes it was O'Connor, who were stationed at Canning Vale I think. I guess they may have been a spare appliance manned by a relief crew? As stated above resources were all over the place and stretched very thin that night. I believe Rockingham 1st was at Welshpool.

East Swan and Bullsbrook have been paged to a flare-up of the Bullsbrook fire.

The flare-up is burning in an unburned pocket of peat soil and paperbark trees near Raphael Road and Payne Road in West Bullsbrook.

East Swan 2.4 and Bullsbrook 3.4 are both at the Bullsbrook flare-up.

Meanwhile another fire has started near The Lakes about 500m from the one that started yesterday. Control point is on Horton Road near Great Southern Highway. Wooroloo, Parkerville and Chidlow BFBs have been paged plus air support. Comms plan given was MNE1. Control channels 34/346.

EDIT: Mt Helena, Sawyers Valley, Stoneville and Glen Forrest also requested. DPaW dozer is cutting tracks through the bush as the fire is burning in an inaccessible area. Air support is on the way.

Update from The Lakes.

Classified as a second alarm scrub fire. Size is 4-5 hectares of jarrah scrub and growing. Location is about 400m from yesterday's fire, burning on the southern side of Great Southern Highway. Resources already mobilised should be sufficient at this stage.

Time to control is as yet unknown. Communications plan in use is MNE1. Winds are SSW at 15-20km/hr. Control point is on Horton Road near Great Southern Highway. Will now be known as Lakes Control.

East Gidge 12.2 is also on the way as is Inkpen BFB and Mundaring ICV.

EDIT: As are Clackline, Grass Valley, DO South East and DO SES South East.

Success FRS just turned out to a DBA at number 20 Stockton Bend in Cockburn Central.

This amused me as I'm pretty sure that Comcen already knew that they were coming...

Plus you could hear the whoop-whoop building alarms in the background of the Comcen operator's voice :)

And for the second time in two days Metro VFRS has "come across a traffic accident." 3 cars involved, requesting WAPOL and ambulance.
