Couple of interesing bits on Strictly Ham's web page.

Icom are now offering 5 years warrany on all mainframe rigs. Presumably that means desktop rigs and for new sales. Couldn't see anything on Icom Au's page. Also they state that as of this month, the IC706 MKII G will cease production. I wonder if they are going to introduce a replacement. Or maybe make the 7000 more affordable

and Andrews Communications are showing a 6 year warranty on their Icom webpages. Of course their own, not an authorised warranty but thats certainly an improvement all round.
