Thanks Rob
be glad you have an F-call... still waiting on mine to go through :(

hehehe, ahh , the waitin is the hard part.
I actuly checked up with the WIA on our exams and unfortuenatly, the examiner only just came back from leave this week  but thier on to it now and apparently now, the wia now does all the work for acma so as soon as the wia are finished processing the exam its gets sent strait to acma and as soon as the exam is sent to acma it gets processed immediatly and hence its up before you know it. all the documents that get sent to where ever is all sent by express post which is good to know. She rekons that it will be a wait of two more weeks Maximum.

They told me some interesting stuff aswell.

it takes about an hour to process one whole exam pack.
they get about 20 packs done every day
and about 50 exams were piled up when the examiner came back on monday

Gee 20 packs a day @ 1 hour each, that means the examiner doing the packs only gets 4 hours sleep

An update on waiting times - the WIA are hoping they might be finished doing them by the end of this week.

Well it does seem like a long time, but around four or so weeks seems to be the average, more or less.

I had the courage yesterday to ring up the wia again and demanded to know what the staus was of my licence, and they asked me what my name was, and i said James, and they said, "ive got it open in front of me now". lol and that was in the morning so that should mean they should be done by tuesday.

Split from "Echolink link"

We can rename this thread "Standards waiting impatiently for their advanced call" in 6 months ;-)
