My requested callsign is no longer available on the WIA website as of yesterday. I have my fingers crossed for the ACMA db on Monday - I've even made a tshirt!

No this is good - it means (I think/hope) that the WIA have allocated it to me :-) Just waiting on the ACMA database now.

Meg's callsign and my previous callsign used to be somebody elses. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Especially 10 years ago. That person probably has a full call now.

Curious on this... whats the point of having Assessors marking the exams when you do them if the WIA is just going to have someone do it all again? (this doesn't happen with Nationally Recognised Training!). Once an Assessor has assessed someone as competent, that should be it...

Who knows :)

Looks like they got part way through the WA packs then, coz a certain F-call is still showing as "available" on the WIA website, even though Meg's standard call isn't there any more.

Clearly this certain person didn't ring and hassle them as James and I both did ;-)

Heh, mines not thier either which means it must have been processed, thanks for that Meg, cool idea.

In regards to fastlane's question, if an assessor didnt mark our exams there we wouldnt know weather we passed for four weeks, and plus, i guess it saves it being posted i guess and saves the WIA time too.
