That was taken down circa 2004 - Probably one of the spare antennas on the old wind gen tower so it wouldn't be overly high.

i am going to tic hill on tuesday to see if we can get the voice repeater back online. will check it out then rob and let you know.

On another note the lakes VK6RLK has a faulty rx. Will get it back on air soon.

Well you can add me to the list, I'm now on as VK6DB-9, using the same Byonics AIO that Rob ordered a while ago. I got them to supply me with a little mag-mount antenna as well, saved me having to hunt one down separately.

I'll be on air testing today as well, with an OpenTracker+, Garmin GPS16 receiver and FT-1802 5 watts. Wasn't getting out too well on 1.5 watts with the VX-3 last test

That packet is obsolete and isn't supported by some software.

According to the APRS101 doc:

"[" Maidenhead grid locator beacon (obsolete)

In the raw info you see this:

2009-12-30 11:39:48 UTC: VK6LUX-9>APRS,TCPIP*,qAC,T2SJC:[OF88CD]Hello world

Everything after the last colon is the data, ie

[OF88CD]Hello world

The first character is the ident which indicates what sort of data follows. The square bracket was designed to show the gridsquare but was made obsolete before APRS v101

@ Which is a position report with timestamp. /A=000863 is your altitude in feet. 000/000 is your course and speed which shows you are stantionary
