Re: Ham radio delux
I don't believe so. It definitely doesn't for the IC-706MKIIG. You can save bookmarks, scan and search, but that all uses frequencies stored within HRD. Not much use away from the computer.

Re: Ham radio delux
Good question, from what I can see...no it allows you to set favourites within the application that will remember your offsets and settings but for all matter and purposes it effectively manually sets those each time you click on one. I programmed in all the repeaters and if I'm on memory 004 VK6RAP and click on the favourite Walliston, it will bring it out of memory mode and display the frequency.
Ham Radio Deluxe is more geared towards HF contacts and DXing with singel frequencies over VHF/UHF contacts where repeaters are involved.
Maybe (Hopefully) HRD 5.0 which I believe will be fully released in either Sept or Oct, haven't seen their webpage in a while, will allow favourite/memory bank integration/synchronisation.

Re: Ham radio delux
Part of the problem is many of the radios don't support memory management through the interface.

I think if you're good with your HEX and coding you're meant to be able to send the commands through to program the memories in but if it can't even read the memory then I doubt you could probably write to it.

Re: Ham radio deluxe
FTbasicMMO is a memory management program suitable for the FT857. I use it for my FT847 and FT897d. Works well and reasonably priced at around $20. You will of course require the necessary interface cables for your radio. From memory I think the same cable that makes Ham Radio Deluxe operate also works for the memory management software.slipknot wrote:hmmm bugger, oh well, myby its just a differnt program , I mean I know that the FT7800 has some sort of a program.
Check it out here, http://www.g4hfq.co.uk/mmohelp/mmohelp.htm
A version for the FT7800 is also available.
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those who do not.
