Hey everyone,
Anyone know what this frequency is?
there seems to be some sort of echolink setup or link?

There's a number of people who use this simplex frequency for general chats and to free up the repeaters.
I believe Danny ZUK was doing some tests a couple of weeks ago with it. Not sure on the full details.

Hi Guys, yes that is a simplex echolink node, Mark VK6USB is running that one from his QTH at Belmont.

My node is a simplex IRLP node running on 145.325 from my QTH at Chidlow.

For further info on these internet linking applications look at http://www.echolink.org and http://www.irlp.net

Well yes thats particulary why I posted it in this part of the forum. :lol:

Its not a bad idea, I saw it connected on echolink to a conferance server in irland i think, its thats the case its not bad, it makes it easier to find a qso then going irlp hunting which takes a while if you dont know what is most most busyest ( i dont know if thats even a word) repeater.

Thanks guys for that, I also found out when using it to, i should have done that first before asking........im a winger arnt I :lol:
