VK6RNR Signage at BINNU, W.A.

Post by VK6??? »

Interesting to note that VK6RNR has an "advertising sign" advertising it's callsign and operating frequency at the BP Roadhouse BINNU - 37kms north of Northampton...

Good idea!

I haven't been up that way for a while, but it does sound like a good idea.

Just giving an old topic an update

Along similar lines, the Geraldton Club have also put a sign about 20K or so north of Geraldton advertising the Geraldton repeater. I was up there yesterday and just happened to see this sign as I went past, remembering this topic, I did a U turn and went back for a pic.

I wonder how many people see it and wonder what it is all about. Probably most.
