G'day Martin,

HF APRS runs mainly on 30M. (10.147.6MHz). There is also some activity starting up on 40M by some standard licencees that can't access 30M. There is a 30M igate in Perth run by VK6UZ, as well as others in VK8, VK2, VK3 & VK7. See http://vk3.aprs.net.au/aprs_on_hf.htm

On the subject of igate's, I surfed across this article the other day that use a Linksys wireless access point as an APRS <-> Internet gateway. http://www.dimebank.com/cak/k6dbg/k6dbg_igate.html
