I'm off to the advanced exam in a couple of hours. I just realised I don't have the passport sized photos #-o

Good luck.
A mate used his home PC and printer for his standard license photos.

Yep that's what I used, digital camera and photo printer... Only issue I had with that was getting a pen that would write up the side of the photo without smudging :)

Good luck with your advanced exam. Don't forget ... 90mins to do the exam and another 90mins to do all the paperwork afterwards ;)

Found a pic from holidays last week that sufficed and some photo paper that had some spare space on it. One of the assessors had a permanent pen. You aren't bloody kidding about the paperwork either. The good news is that it's only once. :D 8) :P   :smt023

Thanks all. I did use the fantastic WIA callsign recommendation service to choose my own call†. It's only $20. I'll wait until it's on the database though before revealing. My second choice is my initials, VK6RN. NSW people can't pick a 2 letter call but the rest of us can apparently. My hat off to the people at Ham College as well.

† This opinion may change once I get what I want.. heh

4-6 weeks according to Neil. It's nice to know all the changes have streamlined the process for maximum efficiency.

I once convinced ( for about 30 seconds) a fellow advanced candidate that the Melbourne post office had burnt down and our results had been lost.
