Summer Sprint (80m phone) - tonight

Hi all,

This is on from 7-8pm tonight (if I have my times correct) - more info here

The rules state 0900-1000UTC which is 1800-1900 WDST. We are now 9 hours ahead of UTC not 7.

I keep a separate clock on my desk set to UTC. Handy

Actually I think I did the calculation wrong too. Curse my lack of mathematical skills!

If you're using Vista on your PC, you can set it to display multiple clocks when you hover over the time in the bottom corner.. !

Nope, I ain't. I suspect the local $2 shop might have some little clocks that will pain me less than Windows :P

Yup - a few of us even. Though in truth I have 2 PC's on my desk - one mac and one linux.

Contest is too early for me. That time of day should be illegal. :P

(btw 2 x W2K, 3 x XP, 1 x Windows Mobile and 1 x W98 here. (3 PCs, 2 laptops, 1 EEEPC and a PDA))

Sounds like fun.

I'll get a few points working some locals and maybe some other states if I'm lucky but ZL on 80m on a wire antenna probably isn't going to happen :(

I heard a couple of locals chatting, and some morse. Put out a couple of calls but I think my antenna is in worse shape than yours Gavin :cry:
