Its a good thing too, if we could have as many people interested in Amateur radio as there are on the cb channels, there will always be people on air most of the time, even at 3 am.

Goodluck to everyone in my class, ofcourse Meg will have a better chance of passing then me

There is only one way of passing, Study Study Study, of course, do heaps of practise exams, in fact theres not too many of those on the net these days but they help.

Yep, I agree with you there - make sure you have a good overall knowledge of the syllabus - go through the manual from cover to cover a couple of times. Make sure you know each formula, what it's for and how to transpose it to a form that's more useful.

And of course there's been plenty of practice exams in class - I think about four or five over the last few weeks. So they should give people a feel for what to expect on Tuesday night :)

Hehe - the more the merrier you reckon? ;)

Good news is, all but one of the Standard class are upgrades from Foundation - which is encouraging, seeing people start at the Foundation level and then want to upgrade. A few have indicated they want to keep going and do the Advanced course as well :)

Thanks all - tonight is the night! I'm sitting staring at my text book and wondering what any of it means :-)

Good luck for tonight Meg, slipknot, Wayne, Joanne, Michelle?, Elvis, that CB guy and the others I can't remember.
It's just an exam. If you don't succeed, just do it again later!

I think i was 17 when i got my novice lic, i wish i had gone for it earlier but that was the first year they tried the classes and it worked really well. appart from hot nights and no air con makes it hard to stay focused.
