I found a couple of hours revision each week really paid off when I went through Ham College.

Yep - spending the time to do the weekly homework exercises is definitely an advantage.

And the exercises in the book at the end of each section are also handy.

Plus ... and this is the most important part ... don't be afraid to ask questions, either in class or between classes :)

and if you're not sure about something just remember...It just is that way, nothing can change it because the old dude many years ago managed to convince enough people with some good rubbish that it is the way he said it is :P.

Geoff NX was talking about setting up a valve bank or something, I didn't quite catch what he was saying on Saturday night, while he was loading up The Dish, maybe send him an email and ask him?

There was also a mention of the valve bank on Roy's Helpline yesterday, so he might be another avenue for enquiries also.

Thanks both - the mention by Roy was someone else looking for info on it, but I'll try Geoff and failing that will see if Roy will run an ad for me looking for it too :)

If you don't have any luck, try VK6XH Keith. I'm pretty sure he mentioned an existing one. I have his email address if you need it.
