Jack VK6JZ passed away. Funeral tomorrow 10.30am Karrakatta from what I heard on Roley this arvo

Jack was such a terrifically friendly bloke, I spoke with him a few times and he was always a delight to speak with. His voice has already been missed from the airwaves in the last few weeks, he'll be missed forever now.

Damned shame. I only caught the news late in the day, so I'm not exactly sure of the details but I guess it was another stroke.

At least 3 emails so far on the NCRG email list regarding his passing. Comments like "true gentleman" have been used.
I never knew him but it's always sad to lose a fellow Amateur.

Absolute gentleman and a great loss to AR in Perth / Australia.
Pity some others didn't learn from him when he was around...
