Shouldn't be a major problem since the Wannaroo repeater gets so little use anyway.vk6hgr wrote:I'll keep an ear out for it. Bummer about the shared frequency though...

Re: DX reports (FM and repeaters)
While the Southern Electronics Group licensed their 70cm repeater frequency back in the early/mid 90's, there hasn't been a repeater until now, while the Ch.1 CB Club licensed their repeater on the same frequency in 2004.vk6hgr wrote: I'll keep an ear out for it. Much of the 70cm band is unused and it is interesting that the same frequency was assigned for 2 repeaters.

Re: DX reports (FM and repeaters)
Had a nice QSO with VK6GHZ last night via Cataby. Was up at the Zig Zag and it was 20 over 9 running 1 watt. Duncan had the handheld inside the house and was getting Cataby well.
Other repeaters heard were Geraldton and Northampton. Nothing from the South though. Was about midnight.
Might go for another expedition later tonight. What time is it looking like coming on, my guess is about 9pm.
If anyone else is keen to catch some of the conditions let me know as we will be out and about.
