A very good duct was around this morning. I worked VK6ZUK via Cataby while he was mobile on one watt in the southern suburbs.
Nothhampton was S9 and Gero was S3.

About 6am this morning I put calls out on Gero (RGN) and Busselton while mobile, but nobody was awake. Very good signals. Also heard Northamton, Cataby, Mt Saddle, Mt Willy, Northam and Bunbury/Harvey repeaters quite well in Northern suburbs and Swanbourne.
Somebody said they heard the Kal repeater under RGN which is the same freq.
Most of the day the ocean had that weird misty look you often see when the duct is happening.
Probably more of it tonight and tomorrow.

Probably. I think I posted something about hearing that repeater's ident a few weeks ago.
I would love to have somewhere to put up my 6m 5/8th right now, as well.

There was just a QSO on Saddleback but yeah most of the country repeater contacts I have made from Perth are to fellow Perth amateurs.
