It beeps back at me :D Just hoping it stays put!

On a related note, I've been thinking I should join the WARG as I'm using their repeaters. Is anyone else here a member that would be happy to propose and second me (on the membership form). I'm not 100% that I can get along to a meeting to join up...

Yeah stick me down as proposer and I'm sure we can twist Gavin's arm to second :P It's only a formality anyway ;)

From memory the fee is $25 per year, so in my opinion it's pretty reasonable to support the group that does provide a big chunk of the repeaters through Perth and other parts of the state.

Is it still $17 or has it gone up by now - I remember the vote to increase the fees (first time in years they've gone up) but can't remember the date it was to take effect from.

Oh well, still cheap no matter which way you look at it :P

According to the WARG net this morning, it's $17 (but it's going up in December AFAIK)

Meg,
You can put me down as seconder if you still need. Some members increase the amount to round off and the bit extra goes as a donation.

I'm planning on being at the WARG meet tomorrow night so I can finally pay some dues, buy a ticket for the radio and meet some people. Anybody else going to be there? Is the parking fairly safe?

In the year or so that I've been going, parking seems to have been relatively OK. I hadn't heard about the break ins earlier than that but lately as far as I can tell it's been fine. But, sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry.
