Oh bugger it, what an inconvenience, now I've got to go and change all my signatures everywhere and change LAN for WAN. Geez, the work the bleedin' government make you do {grumbles like a cranky old man}.

But seriously ... wow. That wasn't there this afternoon. Honestly didn't think it'd be up for another week or so at least!

Ohhhhhhh don't get me started! All the memory channels I've programmed in have the power setting stored in them, so I'm gonna have to go from MED2 to HIGH one by one.....

:P

Meg and Simon, take heed - skip Standard, just go straight to Advanced for your sanity in reprogramming the radios ;)

Congrats! 'eh you surely you don't need to turn up the power for all the repeaters? After all if you can reach roley from home on what you're on at the moment then that's all you should need?? but then if you only sometimes reach Mandurah's then you crank up that one a bit. Oh and all the simplex frequencies...you altered your signature yet??

"Only use the power you need" ;)

In all honesty, the power I'm running as a standard seems to be more than enough to get out everywhere. Perhaps some simplex work could do with a tweak of the power setting, but the repeaters are all good :P

Wow that was quick - congratulations VK6WAN!

I'm over the "more power" thing - I just want bigger antennas!
