Sounds like some Shuttle and ISS Audio is coming thru on 438.425MHz. I have this programmed in on my scanner as Victoria Park so im guessing it's coming in via some IRLP link?

It was on the Fremantle repeater about 10:00 last night as I was driving home from a meeting... So yeah I'd say NASA are streaming audio from an IRLP node or something like that.

Yep - and someone has chosen to air it. They were doing it on RNC some time back. Annoyed the hell out of me as I wanted to use the repeater but had no way of disconnecting the link. (I had an old radio...)

Seems to me that it's no more relevant than somebody playing a WAERN or Westrail channel over a repeater one way. If they were using callsigns and we could talk back... THAT would be cool.

You didn't have a mobile phone handy? You can set most phones up to make the DTMF beep sound every time a number is dialed and then hold the radio mic up to the phone, dial 73 and bobs your aunty
