Whats their frequency?

I'll get back to you on the particular one I use, but I got it from when there was an excercise on the weekend earlier in the year. The frequencies are somewhere on here. :)

Booming in last night was old Cataby... S9+ to me. Also Avon Valley was very audible.

Bring on the Summer months I say. More ducting to come I gan assure you.

Surely will. For some of us, this will be our first season with ducting so it's pretty exciting

I'd like to know too. The 5/8 works well but won't be much use on 70cm once I put the dual bander back in the car. I checked out most of the dual band mobile that Andrews has listed and I was a bit disappointed they are all PL-259 base. I haven't found any decent built-yourself designs either. I suppose an X-50 on the rear bar would look silly.

Myself and a few friends like the Diamond Super Gainer series.
I use the SG 7500 2m/70cm with a boot mount from Dick Smith.

I put out some calls on Cataby and Saddleback but nobody came back. Both are still there this morning

Edit: I was getting into Saddleback from Swanbourne with my handheld and 3 watts Monday 7.30am. That was with a 3 element yagi though :)
