Appears they must be still at large then!

They're playing with fire, whoever they are. Going by what was said elsewhere, two other people have had the long arm of the law catch up with them, it's only a matter of time before the same happens again.

Probably someone different to the other clowns...

Some of the speculation on air is a little worrying, especially the stuff on Sunday morning. Speculation should be left to the forums where it belongs :-)

Not really. Like 6ZLZ said that morning, wait for the official report. Due process and all that.

This is true, everyone is entitled to their day in court and under the law, until the process has been followed, it's important to give everyone the presumption of innocence.

Having said that, I believe the tally of people who've been caught doing the wrong thing is now up to four. :P

Which should be an indication to anyone else thinking of donning the eye-patch and putting a parrot on their shoulder ... the ACMA and Federal Police have the motivation to do something about it when you are found ... when, not if :)

Wow! Clearly I'm not listening enough as I haven't heard any of them. (Can't really see me taking the radio into the library for work :D )

Me neither, but that's what's been reported on air and at various gatherings etc :)

Get an earphone! I'm not sure what floor you're on but you should get a good signal at the top (except maybe for the pager systems)

The walls are about 2 foot thick concrete - I don't think I'd get anything. The balcony on the top floor looks directly east - from there I could almost certainly hit Roleystone or Walliston repeaters.

Of course my workmates would point and stare at me...

eh meh. I'm in Midland in Landgate building you know corner of Morrison and Great Northern Hwy or something. Don't really pay attention to that street name. I don't recall hearing anything on Roley repeater, bu then I couldn't exactly call up and see if someone was listening now could I?!

Me either, but as I'm catching up on a couple of threads at the moment am thinking of when our calls appear in the database and we can call :)
