Dunno if you listened to the WARG meeting today (and the preamble) but it's surprising how many people don't have a copy of this document or have read it.

I didn't hear the discussion but the Radcomm Act is a good piece of law to at least have a passing familiarity with.

A lot of amateurs, unfortunately, can't distinguish between a) The Radcomm Act, b) The License conditions determination ("The amateur license") and c) Good operating practice, tradition and/or gentlemen's agreements.

Holding up c) over a) and b) is particularly common...

Seems that way. I'm not sure how the discussion started but I think it might have had something to do with the hams over east that got stomped on for contravening the LCD recently.

The main thread of the discussion was when a station should identify. Eg A) at the start and end of transmission - or - B) at the start and end of QSO. (not counting the 10 minute aspect).

They ask that operators do not over identify

That's a good doc. I must have read an online version of it before. I heard an F call get educated on the overuse of his callsign in phonetics just recently; in a nice way though.
