My first fest in 28 years. It was great meeting up with the faces behind the names. NGS,HGR,LAN,WPX,ZMS - Grant, Gavin, Zebedee, Wes, Martin. Came home with two mobile transceivers, a s/s whip, a couple of 5/16 ferrules and a pile of RG213 that I got for nothing. And 70c in change.

Yep - was my first Hamfest also, and while there was nothing this year that made me part with any cash, it was good to wander around and catch up with people. I now have a few more faces to put to names and callsigns ;)

Awwwwwww ;) Make sure you give it a good home then, don't forget to feed and water it regularly ;)

Surprising as it may sound for someone of my size, I only had a cup of tea. So total expenditure was $16 for the morning - $5 entry fee, $10 in raffle tickets and $1 for a cuppa ;)

Still a bit of fun anyhow!
