Anywhere on the web where you can "track" amateurs movements that have this in their car??

I have done a search on APRS but no "real time" maps for the Perth Area spring up??

Any idea's where you can view it live??

Cheers, CC 8)

If you know their callsign:

http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?c ... its=metric

Or something like:

http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/map-near.cgi?call=vk6rvp-1

Amateurs usually use a program called UIView for live mapping and I have a set of Perth maps for it.

In Perth there's not a lot of activity at all. It's big in NSW and Victoria.

I thought that you still had it with the Uniden GPS 301 on your dash... Is that where you take the data from to feed the APRS?

I planned to, but the GPS301's output isn't exactly RS-232 compatible so it doesn't work and I'd have to use another GPS receiver.
