Ham equipment vendors in Perth

Post by poke »

Can anyone point me in the right direction for shops selling radios and antennas in the Perth area? Online searches are not showing any results.

I'm after a HF long wire and a mobile HF/VHF multiband for the Jeep. I can buy online, but I like being able to talk to the people and see the equipment before I buy.

Cheers,

http://www.prestigecom.net.au/ comes to mind I've gone there and ordered stuff before.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

Thanks Yorky. I've spoken to Prestige & WA CB and they both no longer stock any amateur band stuff.

It's looking like online / over east vendors are the only option.

Cheers anyway!

The other one to look at is SpookTech - local and run by an amateur.

Great service from Heath at SpookTech who came through with a cheap dual band mobile ant to last me till my outbacker one comes in. Definitely recommend checking out his website so you can buy local if possible!

I'm currently searching for some good quality RG8X for my new mobile install. Anyone know of someone local?
