I see that WICEN NSW has been activated to provide support to NSW emergency services during the current bushfires and state of emergency.

Is there an active equivalent in WA? I've seen the website for the WA one, but it appears to be inactive since about 2008.

If you listen to the WIA news Sundays, they mention when and where they meet on air. I think it's Wednesday nights? I haven't listened to the news for a while. The information should also be broadcast on the VK6RIB beacon on 145.575 MHz FM
