Hey hugebutt, welcome to warsug, this is a great place to start to get help, although i am unfamiliar with the one u just purchased im sure one of the guys will be able to help u out. UBC 57xlt- best $150 spent, so easy to use, just punch in the freqeuncies and enjoy!!! :D

Welcome To Radio! (And Warsug :P)
Seems you just started out and you appear to be really keen, you may aswell take it to the top and start here, www.radioelectronicschool.net
Good to learn about radio's !

No thats a bit further down the track I think.....
Best way to learn is to have a fiddle and ask questions on here (my opinion)

Have Fun:!:
