Powerful signal at 768MHz - What is it?

Post by MadManMarkAu »

During a recent 50-860MHz scan, I came across a very powerful signal at around 768MHz (give or take a few KHz; My receiver is not all that accurate). I don't know what it is, or where it is coming from, but it appears to be a constant signal, I get nothing on AM or FM besides general noise, SSB sounds normal - I have no idea what this is.

There's also another one at 703.075MHz.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Where are you located?
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

Looks like UHF TV from either WIN at Lancelin or Swan at Toodyay.

Could be Pinjarra also.

Although, I could be completly wrong too.

Cheers
