is anyone from the midland area who could assit me for police ambo and fire freqs for swan veiw or midland thanks

The police channels for the Midland district are 46, 49 and 54.
Since we don't publish police frequencies on here directly, take a quick look at http://www.scanaustralia.bigpondhosting ... uhfm1.html which should give you what you need...
Ambulance and fire channels are pretty much the same over a lot of the metro area. FESA have a repeater at Red Hill which might be the best for you - 78.1250 MHz.

You might pick up traffic from Mundaring (CALM) and Wooroloo repeaters too, but Red Hill should be no problem from Midland.
edit: You should be able to pick up 6IP on channels 24 and 25 also.
