Try 416.915 I think this is the main freq.During the day you get a lot of other stuff .But on weekends and night you get stirling security and rangers.Hop it helps to let you know whats hapening in your area.

How Bizarre! I just plugged it into mine and the big numbers are 416.912 with a little 5 at the end.

There aren't really any stepping settings so I don't know why yours is not accepting it!

Yeah, was wondering the same thing myself.
Pointless listening during the day with the garbage that the truckies talk.

Speaking of garbage, maybe it was the actual garbage collectors?

I think this freq is for all of stirling council.Rubbish trucks, road works, dog rangers. You would think they would have there own freq wouldnt you.I think Bayswater sec is the same.

You are right, that frequency appears to be is general purpose use, whole of council.
I captured the frequency of a City of Stirling security car using a near field device.
On the ACMA database that particular frequency was licensed to BISCOMM.
43 frequencies were listed, some of them were located on a tower in Scarborough.
I'll leave the rest up to you for further investigation.
